New Title
Welcome - I'm so glad you're here!
With a background in elementary education and my current work as a parent coach specializing in connection-based parenting and ADHD support, I take a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach to helping caregivers better understand and support their children.
I believe kids benefit when we meet them where they are – developmentally, emotionally, and neurologically – honoring their unique way of moving through the world. The goal isn’t to “fix” a child – but rather to understand how they’re wired and support them in building the skills they need to move through life with more confidence and ease.
Parent coaching offers a collaborative space to reflect on what’s happening beneath the behaviors – exploring everyday dynamics like communication patterns, discipline approaches, and daily rhythms. By supporting the adults who care for children, this work helps build a foundation for emotional well-being for both parent and child. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or want to respond with more intention and steadiness, coaching offers practical, action-focused support – helping you move toward more calm and connection.

Supporting Kids Starts with
Seeing Them Differently
With insights from neuroscience, psychology, and child development, I help caregivers shift from frustration to a greater understanding around their child's behavior. When a child is defiant, overwhelmed by big emotions, or shuts down, it’s not about 'misbehavior' – it’s often a signal that they need help finding their way back to a regulated state.
“Kids aren’t giving you a hard time – they’re having a hard time.”
– Dr. Ross Greene
This simple shift helps parents begin to look beneath a child's behavior, understand what’s really going on, and respond with compassion rather than control.
Through this approach, kids feel more secure, power struggles soften, and the bond between parent and child strengthens.
"I felt supported and at ease during my sessions with Steph. Her insight and empathy resulted in meaningful changes in how I connect with my child, as well as more confidence in myself as a parent."
-Jen
"Steph helped me understand executive function skills and how they shape my child’s daily life. I now recognize that what I once saw as defiance was actually a need for targeted support."
-Emily
Hi! I’m Steph Singer
As a certified coach specializing in both Connection-Based Parenting and ADHD/Executive Function support, my mission is simple: to help you bring more calm, connection, and skill-building into your home or learning environment.
My background in psychology and Master’s in Childhood Education led me to elementary teaching and curriculum development – but my deepest learning has come from parenting. Raising a daughter with ADHD and a son with his own unique strengths and challenges has given me firsthand insight into the complexity of supporting children.
I know what it’s like to feel lost in the overwhelm, to second-guess yourself, and to wish for tools that actually help. That’s what brought me to this work – to support caregivers in finding steadiness and perspective through the inevitable ups and downs of parenting.

How It Works:
When you book a call with me,
we’ll have a conversation about what’s coming up for you,
whether you’re a parent or educator. I’ll listen, offer insights, and share how I can best support you.
I’ll walk you through my approach and the different options for working together. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and explore which type of support aligns best with your needs and schedule.
If it feels like the right fit, we can schedule our first session and get started. If not, I'll do my best to provide alternative resources/suggestions for support. This is simply a chance to connect and determine if we want to move forward with additional sessions.
Let's Connect!
If you're looking for support in understanding and guiding a child in your life, you're in the right place.
Together, we can take the next step toward helping you feel more confident in your approach.
